Father found guilty of all 83 sex crimes against daughter (Part 1 of 2

A father in the Republic has been convicted of 83 charges of raping and indecently assaulting his daughter.
The 49-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been convicted on Wednesday of a total of 21 charges of rape, buggery and indecent assault.

Yesterday, the jury of seven men and five women at the Central Criminal Court, sitting in Castlebar, Co Mayo, found him guilty on all 62 remaining counts of rape.
He had denied all charges, which dated from 1986 to 2000.

In shocking evidence to the court, the victim, who is now aged 30, said that her father had first raped her when she was just five or six years of age.
He had put her over an object in a press and raped her from behind.

She said in her evidence: "He told me, 'It's only going to hurt for a while. It's a game we're playing -- we can't tell your mother about it.'
"He kept raping me after I had my (first) daughter. He'd perform sex on you every way, you know."

When she was queried about how often her father would have sex with her, she replied: "Every chance he got."
Forensic scientist Michael Burrington gave evidence that, from studying DNA profiles, he concluded that there was an almost 100pc probability of her father being the father of her two daughters, rather than any other man.
The accused man chose not to give any evidence during the seven-day trial, but the jury heard that he denied all of his daughter's allegations when questioned by gardai.

In memos of garda interviews read to the court, it was put to him that his daughter had described him as a violent man.
He insisted that his daughter was free to come and go as she wished. "I have no violent voice. I love my children. She will come to her senses," he told gardai.
On Wednesday the jury found him guilty of five charges of rape, eight of buggery and eight of indecent assault.

When they returned to court yesterday morning to resume their deliberations, Mr Justice Barry White told them that he would accept a majority verdict in respect of any of the remaining counts on the indictment.
After deliberating for almost three-and-a-half hours, the jury returned with guilty verdicts on all counts.

The judge told them that it was not an easy task to sit in judgment of one's fellow man. In a case such as this, it was perhaps even more difficult.
Prosecution said it would require some time to prepare a victim impact statement.

Sentencing was adjourned to the Central Criminal Court in Dublin on December 13.
The judge remanded the convicted man in custody to that date and ordered that his name be entered on the Sex Offenders Register.

Child molester gets out 300 years early, hired hit-man to kill witnesses (video)

TITUSVILLE, FL -- A Florida man sentenced to 315 years for child molesting has been set free after less than 15 years.
In 1992 Thomas Spioch was charged with 29 sex crimes and should have never walked out of prison again if convicted.

52-year-old Thomas Spioch was convicted in 1997 of molesting a 14-year-old boy and trying to hire a hit-man to kill seven witnesses at his trial.

Through a series of appeals Spioch had 300 years knocked off his sentence.
He was going to be set free in 2007 until the state locked him up under the Jimmy Ryce Law, which puts sex offenders in a secure treatment facility until they are not considered a danger to society.

Spioch was set free Sunday when a doctor said he's no longer likely to re-offend. He will have no ankle bracelet or GPS.

Spioch has 12 years of probation to serve now that he's out of prison. Prosecutors believe Spioch is still dangerous.

According to local media, he will register as a sex offender and continue treatment. Leave a Comment below....

Child rapist sentenced to six consecutive life terms plus 100 years (Shocking News Video

Billings, Montana - A man who told a child rape victim that she lied and accused prosecutors of fabricating evidence was sentenced Tuesday to six consecutive life terms without parole, plus 100 years, by a judge who described him as "the embodiment of a psychopath."
Lucien Sidney Bonck III, 58, received the sentence from District Judge Gregory Todd during a contentious court hearing at which the judge threatened to have Bonck shackled and gagged.
Bonck was sentenced for three counts of sexual intercourse without consent and three counts of sexual assault related to the 2002 rape of a 7-year-old Billings girl. Todd ordered the sentences to run consecutive. He also designated Bonck a Level III sex offender, considered the highest risk to commit new sex offenses.
The judge added the 100-year prison term for a felony tampering charge in which Bonck tried to convince his son to lie at his trial.
Bonck was convicted of the charges at trial in February.
Todd imposed the maximum possible sentence on each count at the request of Deputy County Attorney Anne-Marie McKittrick, who described Bonck as a "sexually violent predator" with a long criminal history. Bonck's first felony conviction was in 1974 for armed robbery in La., McKittrick said, followed by subsequent convictions in that state and in Wyoming for charges ranging from burglary to drunken driving.
Bonck was sentenced as a persistent felony offender, which carries a maximum possible sentence enhancement of 100 years in prison. Bonck previously was convicted in Yellowstone County of raping an 8-year-old Billings boy and received a 20-year sentence.
With no chance of rehabilitation and a psychological evaluation that determined Bonck is a psychopath without remorse or empathy, McKittrick told Todd that his "focus now should be on punishment and protecting our children."
McKittrick said the term psychopath "is thrown around" in popular culture, but she described Bonck as "the real thing" who "wants and desires to sexually prey on children."
"Please, please, lock him up forever," McKittrick told the judge.
With the now 15-year-old victim in the courtroom, Bonck delivered a rambling indictment of the girl, her family, the prosecution and his defense attorneys. Facing the girl, he accused her of lying at his trial.
Bonck also attacked McKittrick, claiming that the prosecutor tampered with and fabricated evidence against him.
"I've sat here for three years and watched you create this case," Bonck said.
He also complained that his court-appointed attorneys failed to properly represent him, and he claimed that his appeal has "an 80 percent chance of success."
Todd called Bonck's statements "incredible" and "absolutely unbelievable."
"It seems like whenever you open your mouth, Mr. Bonck, I continue to be amazed," Todd told Bonck.
The judge then delivered a stern rebuke against Bonck's allegation that the victim lied and th t  the prosecutor tampered with evidence in the case. Todd suggested that the psychologists who evaluated Bonck and diagnosed him as a psychopath would benefit from seeing Bonck's courtroom speech.
"They rarely get to see, in person, the embodiment of a psychopath," Todd said. "That's what you are."
As Todd explained why he was imposing the lengthy sentence, Bonck interrupted him several times. At one point, Bonck turned to his court-appointed defense attorney and said he was "done" listening to the judge.
"I've had enough," Bonck said.
"Quiet," screamed Judge Gregory Todd after an outburst by the defendant during the hearing. Bonck said he was done and wanted to leave the courtroom. "No," said Todd, "if need be we'll bind you and gag you but you'll at least be able to hear."
Todd threatened to have Bonck shackled and gagged if he continued to interrupt him as he explained the sentence.
